This Privacy Notice explains how Wako Co., Ltd. (“Wako,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information submitted through the English Kotolabel website, including requests for samples, specifications, and pricing.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you enter in the inquiry form, such as your inquiry type, company, name, business email, country or region, business type, estimated quantity, intended use, and custom-artwork needs. You may also provide product codes, requested timing, phone number, and an additional message.
When you request a quote from the order page, we also receive your selected product codes and pack quantities, and the delivery city, state or region and postal code you provide to help us confirm shipping.
When you place an order, Stripe processes your payment. Wako keeps the order details, payment status, contact name, company, email, phone number, delivery address, shipment tracking details and notification history needed to fulfill and support your order. Wako does not store your full card number.
The website and its security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the form, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and reCAPTCHA verification data.
2. How We Use and Share Information
To understand which business links lead to inquiries and orders, we retain the source (such as Instagram or a sales email), campaign codes and visit times in this browser tab for up to 24 hours. We attach the first recorded source and latest campaign link to your inquiry or order and keep that record with the related business records for reporting and support. We do not use this information to identify your Instagram account or send it to advertising platforms. Closing the tab or clearing site storage removes the browser copy; information already submitted remains with the inquiry or order. You can use the site with browser storage disabled.
Wako uses inquiry information to:
- review and respond to your request;
- discuss samples, product specifications, availability, quotations, and delivery options;
- maintain business correspondence and inquiry records;
- process orders, arrange delivery, send order and shipment messages, and handle after-sales support; and
- protect the website, prevent spam, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us host, secure, or deliver the website and inquiry process, subject to appropriate obligations, or when disclosure is required by law. This form uses Google reCAPTCHA; Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Your information may be processed in Japan and in countries where relevant service providers operate. Wako retains it only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Online Orders and Payments
When online checkout is available, Stripe processes payment details and collects the contact and delivery information needed for your order. Wako does not receive or store your full card number. Wako uses order and payment references, selected products, quantities and amounts to verify payment and fulfill the order. See Stripe’s privacy policy for its processing.
An essential checkout cookie links a payment to the browser that started it. A temporary product selection is kept in this browser for convenience. Limited, short-lived identifiers derived from technical request information help prevent checkout abuse. Order records are kept only as needed for fulfillment and applicable business recordkeeping.
3. Your Choices and Contact
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on the use of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. These rights may be subject to applicable exceptions.

Wako may update this notice when the inquiry process or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
